I am trying to talk to someone who really needs help, but she will not respond to me. I have probably emailed her 6 or 7 times because I am worried about her, although I don't know her personally .Am I wrong to keep emailing her? Her name is Ellie if you've read any of her questions.

You've made contact. Now let her take the next step. I've been there. Too much emailing a person from someone that she doesn't know can make her feel like you are stalking her or spaming her. Neither of those do you want to be guilty of. I have excperience with cutters. I can help If she contacts you tell her about me. It's good to care about someone just don't smother them. Good luck.

Yes it is wrong. You can only help those who really want to be helped, besides you cannot change destiny so stop trying. It is obvious she doesn't want your help no matter how helpful you can be babe so give up. Maybe Ellie is enjoying the attention and will keep having questions for you to answer. You sound like a caring person so don't ruin your own wellness by bashing your head against a brick wall. Help someone who wants to be helped.

You can't force your good advice on anyone. She will find her own way back when she is ready. Send her one more email telling her that you won't bother her anymore but that you will always be there for her if she wants to talk to you. The only thing you can do now is wait and hope.

She might not check her email (like me) or she just wants to be left along. Or maybe she doesn't answer the emails because they are from a person that she does not know.

Unfortunately, some folks just don't want to be helped. After e-mailing that many times, give the girl a chance to respond if she's going to do so.

One or twice, okay, but 6-7 times?
Are you certain she is opening the email?
Maybe you need to call her or give it up.

i dont understand why she needs help, but if you really feel she does then i guess keep trying, although it seems like your emails may be a waste of time.

Even though you may have the answers, resources, and will necessary to help someone, you can't always help if they don't ask. She must know that she needs help, ask you for it, open her heart to you, and then follow your help for you to be successful. If any of those is missing, then you may not be able to help her.

If her life (or anybody's who is close to her) is in danger, I think that you should try to talk to her. Otherwise, you should probably leave her alone. If she wants to talk later, let her contact you.
