figure out how much you want to spend and find out the cost of the lamps inside and what is time to failure of the lamp.
Also check what input and outputs it has, S-video is better than using the RCA plugs.

Epson is fine. Just make sure you have compatable connections to your laptop or dvd player with which u plan on using it.
