Nope. It's only been in the last hundred years or so that people have actually married for love. Before that, more often than not, marriages were made by parents who viewed it almost as a business transaction.

There is no such thing as marriage made in heaven, marriage is a ceremony where 2 becomes one but this does not mean that these 2 people that are getting married won't have some adjustment to make after marriage.
They are composed of 2 different individuals that will be together, they will have arguments, disagreements,different points of view on things or on how to run things and there will be ups and downs. It will just be a matter of how strong their bond is that both of them will be there for each other in spite and despite of any given situation at any given time....

I think that marriages are made in HEAVEN but not in HEVAN. there's a difference. sorry :) i believe that there is a heaven and that god does choose who we marry even though we ourselves don't quite believe it. i also believe that when god made the world and when we were all sent down to live here that we had already chosen who we were to marry and which family we would be apart of. some of us may come from a bad family or a good family and we all made the choice on our own on who and wehre we would be. we can't remember any of that stuff now because we passed though a veil and it was all lost from our mortal memmory so that we would not have to jsut pass though this life and know every single thing that would come to pass or anything for that matter. but once we have completed our time here on earth then we will go to heaven and live the rest of eternity there with our families. "FAMILIES ARE FOREVER"

Where is "haven". No sweetie, marriages are a civil contract to protect the rights of spouses and children. With 50% of all marriages in the US failing, they weren't made in 'haven" were they??

First of all u telll me who say to u marriages are made in Heaven
I am a man who expert in spritual tantra and divine and much practical and scientifical field . The person who are totally failure in their field and not capable for any thing only say this thing that marriage are made in heaven or god create every thing or blame to god and heaven but i know the person is self defaulter and self a surprising and gain luck if he proper play game and when he feel good and profitabale gain then person take credit himself and while loosing then blame god heaven what is fullishness of un educated person lol

The only marriages that are made in heaven are the ones that aren't made by the decisions between our legs and our heads. Yes they are by the way. What God has joined together let no man tear apart.

No, there is no heaven, it is all a relative thing.
Where is heaven, Mars, or the most outer star in our Galaxy or is the most farthest galaxy in our universe.
lets start to think out of the box now and stop all this thinking of our past religions.
just think on the greek times, when they had all kind of gods made out of marble, now we think of them as they were crazy to have all kind of statues as gods, the priest who dedicated all his life for those gods, where do you thinks he will be now.
it's only that now, instead of the statue god, we made him invisible. Do you think those who got married at that time had their marriage made by the same godssssssssssssss

Hmm thats an interesting question. I feel like they are but they arent. I think they arent because God gave us free will so whomever we chose to marry is completley up to us. But then again the whole soul mate thing....I wonder if angels are around making us run into the person we are meant to be with....like I said, thats a very interesting question but unfortunatley, we will never know the answer to it! :)

I don't believe that marriages are made in heaven. Marriage can come in the form of a rose....it's has it's thorns and has it's petals...the good times.

If you mean heaven, then if you believe in God, which I do, then yes, he was in heaven when he created it. But in another sense, no. You have to work at it. Nothing in life is easy, but if you work at it (like everything else)then it can be very satisfying.
