I would like to see that spark of love and enchantment in my husband's eyes. He told me 10 years ago that the spark was over. I love him with all my heart, but when I look into his eyes, they don't reflect any sign of love. He treats me well, though. Is the missing spark in his eyes and his silent an indication that he is not in love with me? He is away right now and I sent him an e-mail asking him this question, but he just ignored me. After 10 years with this problem, I am willing to move away if there is nothing I can do. I cannot force him to love me and the suspense is making me sick.

Eyes don't reflect what the heart feels. The eyes are not the windows to ones soul. I'm sorry to say its a persons actions and demeanor which is the tell tell signs of love/lust and happiness. It seems as if, when you sent him an email asking that question, he's probably thinking my silence will answer this question for her, I would guess by what you've described, he is a person not wanting to openly hurt you, so his silence is his answer. I hope this isn't true, however the chances are?

I know exactly how you feel. Be prepared for a rough road ahead. I left mine he was a lot like yours. It was hard on my own and I found what I was looking for. The reason you don't want to settle for this is because there is something better for you. Although I don't have that problem now I find that everybody is different. What you trade for in one man you find that the next man your with has another problem. Sometimes it's a better situation overall. Don't lose sight of what you really want in life. I don't regret leaving. I just wish I had done this a little earlier.

Yes, They say "The Eyes Are The Windows To Your Soul". I can tell if a person is a good person or bad by looking into their eyes. If i am mad people that know me can tell by look in my eyes. If i am hurt the same thing applies. How ever i do not like people to look into my eyes, when they do i will look away, i often use this technique when encountering a new friend

the spark which is missing is becos of the SAME OLD YOU.......
people are strange... they get bored of their routine life very soon.... the spark which is not coming in his eyes is just becos you haven't changed yourself........ you have modified yourself...
Change is the best way to keep up the spark in a relation.. you have to keep changing... let it be anything except your attitude..... and your love to him.......
try to change the way you look... the way you dress and many other things... try to bring some newness in your relationship... you have to keep the interest of your husband going on...
its just that he is thinking that he knows everything about you..... try to show him something which he still doesn't know...... be a bit naughty and a bit mysterious... give pleasant surprises to him......
in short.. TRY to be his beloved and not wife.... you will find love....
