Anybody ever meet friends on yahoo answers? What makes you contact someone - just what they say touches you so profoundly? ;)

Actually, I'm more the opposite of the other ones on here. I usually contact people to further a debate on a subject that I am morally objected to. Usually the problem is resolved when we take the debate from email to messenger where we argue for a couple of hours on one issue that becomes several. When the other side finally sees why I'm arguing with him/her than all problems are resolved.

Oh and your avator looks cute too but unless I see a real picture of you and get to know you better than a drawing... we have nothing in common. >> this in reference to the question you answered: Has anyone noticed that Yahoo is starting to block certain words?

Usually I will see someone elses answer to something that I answered and I want to see this person's 360. If it's something they said that was really profound, yes, I drop them a note. Some have done it to me as well. I have one or two friends that I have never met before.

A guy made contact with me when I gave him a smart *** answer to one of his questions.We are mates now.I live in Australia and he lives in England.Going to catch up when I go there in a couple of months.I've got a few email friends on the go.

i probably talk to about 5 different people that i met through Yahoo! Answers with email. they just ask for someone to talk to and i like to talk to people alot. so it's a win-win situation

I have added a added a contact on my IM and we are in touch. Have become great friends on messenger :)

exactly.People react to things people say. They look up there 360 page and look for common factors. Then they reply to eachother. almost like this.
