My Favoritist Bikes, you ask? Since no motorcycle can completely satisfy your every 2-wheel needs and desires, I'll list them by category instead.

Sportbike: Triumph Daytona 675
Standard: Ducati S2R1000
Cruiser: Harley XL1200 R
Sport-Tourer: Ducati ST3s
Adventure-Tourer: Ducati Multistrada 1000S
Nostalgia: Ducati Sport 1000

Notice that no Japanese bikes are on my list? I know they make some incredible machines at incredible prices but, after having owned a shipload of them over the years, performance per dollar just isn't as important to me as the quality of the riding and ownership experience.

Obviously the Rune is right up there, but I also love the 99 Hayabusa and the Rocket III. And might as well throw in the Warrior and the new Boulevard. The last two only for their looks; the first three both for looks and specs.

Mine!
It's a 1978 BMW R80/7 that I am rebuilding (a little here, a little there) into a cafe racer. It's a hobby that I can take cross-country (and have done)!
I'd wager everybody's favorite is "mine," no matter what brand/year/model.

I saw a Yamaha Vstar I think it was friday....It was about a 650 I think, but it looked like a big bike, and reminded me of a Harley. The seat on it looked very comfortable, and it's only about $6,000 brand new I think.
