Why do women forgive men?

But behold, sometimes when women say that they forgive, they do actually mean it. But if she exhibits any of the aforementioned behavior, her forgiveness comes with strings attached.
But it's all relative. For many women, everything depends on who you've cheated with, what she meant to you, how many people know, whether you told her or she found out... there are many things to consider. But ultimately, cheating is not cool, for lack of a better word.

Personally speaking, if my significant other cheated on me, my love would turn to hatred instantly. I just cannot tolerate betrayal of any kind and even if I wanted to forgive him, I couldn't. That's just the kind of person I am. But hey, evidently many women don't feel the way I do

Most women forgive men.itz b'coz they r soft hearted n kind hearted.They do not want any1 2 suffer with punishments.They want every1 2 be happy and every move 2 go well and succesfull.As i h've mentioned earlier, this is not the case for all the women, but Most women.

I'm not sure, but Forgiveness is more real and solid, if it comes out of understanding, empathy, knowledge, and putting oneself in the other's shoes.

Forgiveness also requires that one admit one's OWN part in making the problem, and forgiving that too.

The cleansing result, should involve thankfulness, too, even to god, for having learned a valuable lesson..

In Africa (and Third World Countries) Woman forgive men becuase of the cycle of the Abuse from their husbands. 90 Percent of woman put up with abusive words and suffered from Depression, Low Self Esteem, resulting in poor mental health.
It is an endless cycle and doctors/health authorities don't believe in intervening as they would in America. So consider yourself lucky if you have the guts to tell your male friend/partner to bug off.

I forgive men when I feel like I understand what happened,and what the lesson was that he found from it well enough to trust him again.
