Diego Maradona should be made the next coach of Argentina. Ofcourse why can't he be ?
Being Argentine , he will be able to understand his team much better than other foreign coaches. There will be good communication between him and his players.
Maradona is the person who had fought against the odds and won . Iam Indian but hands up for him the way he struggled against the obesity and drugs.
Few days back in Times of India, I saw Maradona doing dance on the stage with the Italian or other european actress.
I felt so happy to see him back in the form. He got rid of EXCESS WEIGHT and looked healthy and yes drug too.
Maradona is a good fighter against the odds and this is the time to make him as a Coach. He will be able to make right judgement etc.
I hope Argentina will give her worthy son a opportunity to be a coach this time . We have seen him as a player . Now let us see him in a new form. Give him a chance and let see what happens.
Whatever will be the outcome, we all know Maradona will do his best.

Maradona by far. There are few others in sporting history who have created moments of joy, controversy, and pure skill All England fans shudder at the mention of "Hand of God" myself included. But few remember his first goal, a dribble of absolute brilliance. He set the benchmark for smaller than average players and was an inspiration to hundreds of millions. Plus he continues to be amazing. He is the uncle of Sergio Aguero and the godchild to Lionel Messi's son. His antics in the World Cup three years ago were legendary. The things he said ranged from the insightful to the ludicrous. I may hate him for the HOG, but few men match him. He's up with Messi, Platini, Cruyff and Pele as the greatest ever footballers. Never been a fan of F1. Driving just bores me. But I saw his biopic film, which was good. But he definitely didn't make an impact anywhere near Maradonas.

It's an interesting idea, but just because the guy was a phenomenal player doesn't mean he has the hability to go through the day to day grind of coaching. Sure, he can give guys some pointers on what to do when playing, but I don't think he has the temperament of a Menotti, Bielsa, Pasarella or Pekerman to sit and analyze the game, and then communicate that effectively with the team.

I wish everyone would stop making cocaine jokes about Maradona. He was a great player, with or without drugs and the "hand of god" and all that crap. He'll definitely bring much needed spirit into the Argentinian team if he's coach, so I definitely hope so.

it will be amazing if he was. u know that he himself is argentinian so it'll be cool if he was the new coach of the Argentinian team. He is great, the argentinian team is great, and with him as a coach he would make the whole team even greater.
