me and my friends did that a few years ago after we "graduated" from middle school to high...we each put in 3 items of value that told a little about us and our lives and why we were friends. We are going to dig it up after we graduate high school this year. GO VIKINGS CLAS OF '07!!!!!!! We cant wait to dig it up. its gonna be a major trip down memory lane. we will have a girl fest and eat a lot and stay up late talking baout the contents of the time capsul....it will be one of our last tims together bc we are all going to diff colleges....we plan to keep in touch tho. sorry i am buggin u.... u didnt want all this right? well, there ya have it.

I made a time capsule when I was younger (8, I think). I put in some baseball cards, some cool rocks, a barbie doll, and a note with the date, my name, etc... I buried it in the back yard and I dug it up about six months later. It's a good thing I did because a cigar box isn't the best container to use to bury stuff.

I am 20 yrs old now but in Grade 6 we made a time capsule, The entire class was involved, we never dug it up....lucky I only live down the road from my old school, looks like I have a mission tonight!
It will be interesting to see what we put in it!! Hmmmm.....

Yes. My kids and I all made time capsules. The first is scheduled to open 26 DEC 2012.

Yes, we did a project in school. It was in grade 5 i think, and i remember finding it under my bed in grade 9 when i moved stuff around. It was pretty interesting. Just talked about what i wanted to be when i grew up, some pictures i drew. Then in grade 9 we got something in our Agenda from school so i made another one, found it again in grade 12 and had a good laugh at myself! Its fun to look back and see where you've come.

No, my sister and I did try to do a buried treasure kinda thing...but we never thought of it as a "time capsule"...but I don't remember where we buried it at (where in the 20 acres we lived on)..I guess someone else will eventually find it.

not yet but me and my 8 friends and are goin to do it they are cumin over thursaday actually and we're all gonna do it and we have these pictures from our church camp all of them are diferent but all of them have us 9 in there and then we also have these plastic knives from about 2 r 3 yrs ago thats a huge inside joke and were gonna write out name on there and we are also goin to put names in a hat and then draw names out and huever name u get u have to write kinda like a one pg letter it doesnt matter wut u say u can say how u feel abotut hat person or just anything about them but its a letter to them then u write ur name on it and were gonna dig it up probably wen ever were seniors aboutt o get out of schoo and hus ever name is on the paper u give it to ur person im excited

yes when i was in the 1st grade i put a drswing of my family and have to wait 50years
