No. They will be a great team, but a dynasty wins championships consecutively...the Celtics of the 50's and 60's, the Bulls of the 90's.

the spurs havent been a dynasty since they lost Big D Robinson. A dynasty has to keep the same core players and min several championships over a short period of time. You could call the 3-Peat Lakers a dynasty because of their coach and big 3 players that stayed the whole time. (counting Fish) Real long term dynasties are the Lakers from the 80's or the Celtics that won 8 championships in a row. The Spurs and Pistons too, are not dynasties. Just good teams.

Not not even close. The only dynasty in basketball ever was the celtics in the 60's.They won 9 out of 11. Next is probably the bulls of the 90's who won 6 out of 8. they would have 8 out of 8 if jordan didnt go play baseball and let the rockets win in 94 95. To be a dynasty in baskebtall you have to win in consecutive years and maintain dominance. If they wn the next 3 maybe, possibly the will be a dynasty. Tim duncan has 2 rings, and a shoe in in the hall of fame. But his team, the spurs, are not a dynasty.

No they have to win the title next year to be considered a dynasty. You have to win at least 3 championships within 6 yrs to be considered a dynasty.

I think a dynasty is a team that have the same nucleus in a 1-3 year period. They also have to win in consecutive years. Oh and don't forget the coach. The coach is the center piece of a dynasty. Plus,Tim Duncan is too boring, he's very effective, but he needs to get out of here.
