Everyone at school hates cheerleaders, because they think that all cheerleaders are stuck-up. How many of you think that all cheerleaders are stuck-up...?

Well, I guess it depends on the "everyone" you are talking about. I guess the correct way to say it is everyon "loves" cheerleaders, that is why they become them. But I guess there are actally 3 types of cheerleaders.
1- The 'preppy' cheerleader, your normal "I'm better than everyone" and normally goes to the parties and stuff like that.
2- The cheerleader that is there because they want to become a type 1 cheerleader
3- The realalistic, They understand that they are not going to be the type 1 and do not want to become one because they have values, tho rare, they do exist
*there are also the overweight cheerleaders but they normally fall into the type 2

no! I'm a cheerleader and I have been for 3 years and I just made varsity as a freshman. I think that reason people think cheerleaders are stuck up is because they're always happy! as a cheerleader though don't you have to be happy so that you can cheer! I know for a fact that I am not stuck up one of my best friends plays soccer!

Cheerleaders are no more stuck up than other athletes. A cheerleader that only hangs out with other cheerleaders and harrasses the plain girls is considered stuck up. A football player that picks on the nerds and only hangs out with the other jocks is considered cool. There's no difference in how they act, just what they're called.

That is the biggest stereyo-type of all!!! of course some cheerleaders are gonna be stuck up...people from every sport are going to be stuck up....
most cheerleaders are just fun and love to have a good time...and sometimes they end up being popular...which can be mistaken for being stuck-up

I think some people that say that are jealous. Of course there are going to be some stuck up people in almost every group of people (not just cheerleaders)...but the cheerleaders I know are smart, pretty, and friendly.

Cheerleading is the dork-sport at my school, but most of them are nice people. There are schools were it's the "cool" thing to do, and then they're all stuck-up. It really depends where you go. But, seriously, if people say all cheerleaders are stuck up, they're just stereotypical losers.

some are but those are the "preps" remember that all stuck up people pretty much are preps but not all cheerleaders are stuck up ...most of them are just happy they are a cheerleader..judging by your name you are a cheerleader but thats cool and i can see right now your not stuck up for asking that question

Some of them are stuck-ups because they think they have this POWER...
However, I have good friends that were cheerleaders and they are like anyone else... DOWN TO EARTH!!!

some are at my school but a few others r my friends. i think one of the cheerleaders here is only popular cuz her aunt is the principal.
