I have an HP dv1220us Notebook. It's pretty cool, it has lots of good features and the perfromance is great. The only thing is that it has a 13.4" monitor. I want a laptop with the same specs but a 17" one with a seperate numeric keypad in the keyboard.... any ideas how to do it... I've tried to ask where i bought it from... They said you can't trade it and pay the difference to get a better one. What should i do to switch/trade my laptop to/for a 17" screen laptop?
I am really craving to switch to a 17" screen one...

Any opinions will be appriciated. Thanks :)

Like all the others said, you can't have an even trade. A better idea might be to sell it on ebay for more than it's worth or rip off one of your least-liked friends who have always wanted your laptop. I'm out of ideas. Hey, I never knew they made laptops with screen sizes up to 17"!

You didn't say where you're from, but I'd strongly recommend placing a free ad on Craigslist (see link below).

Craigslist is great for roommates, jobs, cheap furniture & computers (but NOT for personal ads unless you enjoy dating psychos!).

Why not try selling it on ebay and then buying a new one that will probably be your best bet.

You might try Craig's List... they have a bartering section.
