The Anger I detect in your tone suggests that any argument that challenges your beliefs as they currently exist will be instantly shot down. I will attempt to answer as best as I am able, feel free to edit in response if need be.
To present a "state fo fairness and equality" would suggest that everyone is free and equal to PURSUE hapiness. If anyone decides not to pursue opportunity then they do not have to. It is apparent that there are many racist individuals within each race of people as well a form of racism within each race one against the other. By all means you have a right to complain about mistreatment or other issues that you have. To react because of mistreatment would have to be governed by laws that currently exist. It would be inaccurate to say that anyone has the right to react that places another in fear of harm.
Minorities do have a say in the matter, you currently with your question "have a say". The greater question is what do you want? What do you think is fair and equal? Do you think that you are owed something from people that have more?
I look at FUBU as a prime example of inequality. Knowing that FUBU stands for "For Us Buy Us" (this does not include whites by the way) it is apparent that I am not equally able to wear that line of clothing without feeling scorned. Clearly blacks have more rights then whites in this issue. If I were to start a clothing line named say "FAWNO" (For All Whites Not Others) I would be scorned, ridiculed, labeled RACIST BIGOT, prosecuted and shut out of business. Where I ask is the equality? All racism is wrong and should be shunned by all.
About "Whites own[ing] the Casino and the deck":
It is not illegal for minorities to enter into that business...need I say more?
It is your belief that somebody owes you somthing that will continually destroy you from the inside out. At some point, as many have, you may relaize that your actions, or lack there of, take you to where you go. PURSUE happiness its available to all. In the black community when another rises to the top like Rice, Powell or another they are labeled "Uncle Tom's" this is what is "keeping the brothers down". Many do not want to rise that far for fear of being ostrasized by their own people.
About your statistics: you are right to say that there are more whites on welfare. The point is that a greater percentage of blacks are on welfare then whites.
It is my hope that collectively people will stop being racist all around. I would hope that humanity can become more "Realist" then "Racist". Lets explore eachothers strengths and weaknesses, learn from eachother, Unite...d States should be United by the people of which we all are.
By my beliefs I can only assume that few will listen or understand. Only a few can look past and push aside the HATRED that currently exists toward the Whites. While we may be a majority it will not be this way forever...world wide we certainly are a minority all ready.
Take care.

I am sorry you feel this way about the justice system and I am not one to say it is perfect or correct in its action, and I am not saying there are no racists out there on either side of the fence blacks or whites. The majority of whites are not racist the ones that are seem to get all the airtime on TV and I am not saying hispanics, blacks or any other ethnicity is more or less targeted by the police in anycase, It seems that blacks get a bad rap. I have friends who are black and educated that yes get looked at diffrent cause the drive a BMW or a Lexus. I have even hear people whisper to others "I bet it is stolen". No one is asking for anyone to bow to the whims of another. I feel that we are changing the way people look at differnt groups in America but I do feel like it is painfully slow. And to add to your statistics Hispanics and Black or more likely to commit a violent crime then whites. However when Whites commit the same violenet crime they do it with much more bang for their buck. We dont kill or maime one person we try to take them all out. I am not trying to stir the pot just answering the question that always seems to get a rise out of the public.

YOU are a racist. You've asked the same question about 8 times and you aren't satisfied with any answers you get. Do you know what the definition of insanity is?
If you are an American citizen then those are your laws, not the White man's laws. If you don't like them, do something about it in a legal way. That does NOT include excluding White people, or Black people, or any sort of people from voting. That is the definition of discrimination. Get a brain before you make an argument, you idiot!

There is a lot of opinion here, but not a lot of question.
I don't know what kind of a say in the matter you want. More than me, or just the same as me, (white guy). All anybody owes you , or me for that matter, is to ensure that there are no artificial roadblocks to you making your own way in life. I don't know exactly what you have been up against, but if you stayed in school, studied hard, didn't do drugs or commit any crimes; all you have a right to is to be given an equal chance in the job / housing market like the rest of us. If that's not happening, then it's a crime. If it isn't , what else do you want?

So, whats the question? I don't abuse minorities, abused women should leave their abuser, "minorities" should have a say-yes (aren't whites becoming the minority?), Indians own the casinos where I come from, Lincoln was white and he proclaimed freedom for slaves, and yes few whites are racist which sucks and I don't know who is on welfare?
Is that sufficient?
Have a good one.

Unfortunately it is the law of numbers...
There are more whites than blacks in this country...I think the year 2000 census says ~13% black. Therefore, if a small perecentage of whites are racist, it is large compared to the overall numbers of blacks....and therefore can be overwhelming to the black population.
There may be more whites on welfare, however, when compared to the overall percentage of the white population it is lower than the ratio of blacks on welfare compared to the total black population. The black population is still recovering from the efects of slavery...
As far as the race card...well, at the end of the day it is god who is the final judge of everyones actions.

Why are you continuing this? As for your comment about basket ball players...do you know the they are idolized by all races and how dare you make that comment about "if they didn't have talent they'd be thrown in jail by us" HA HA. If they are stupid enough to commit a crime whether they are famous or not then yes they will be put in jail. Stop while you are ahead of yourself. You are an American aren't you?

blah blah blah......... I work at DSS, and I know that for a fact there are more blacks on welfare than white. That doesn't matter anyways. Welfare is meant for people of all races who need the help, and aren't there to abuse it. but since you are statistically speaking, would you like to know which race is caught abusing the welfare system most...... Take a wild guess!!!!

What specific inequality are you complaining about? I believe everyone over 18 who has never been convicted of a felony does "have a say in the matter" as you put it. It is called a vote.
