I agree with first answer, and it's not like all women are bad drivers.. there are bad drivers who are men too. And just... stating, men have to pay more money for car insurance than women because they are more likely to get into an accident.. I don't know why, but it is true. But still, both sexes has those people who can drive well, and those who drive poorly.

I'm not saying that you are being rude, that I am offended, whether I am a bad/good driver (btw, I drive well!), I am just saying that is an incorrect statement.

well, some women can drive, but i look at it like this

men, aim when they pee, so they have experience aiming at something they aren't looking at. women, do not. we do not aim when we pee, there's nothing to grab ahold of and aim with whatsoever. women check their mirror, or over their shoulder, and aren't looking at the road for a split second, they veer out of their lane, into a guard rail, wherever.

and the reason why women have lower insurance premiums, less tickets on average, and all that other stuff, is because you wouldn't believe how many women can get out of tickets and accidents, for that matter, any minor trouble with the law, by winking and offering "a drink or two at the local bar later on tonight". and you wouldn't believe how many male police officers take up their offer! sometimes its a little more involved than a drink...

me, however, i never got my license. I'm 24 and i still just have my permit. i know i cannot drive, and i don't intend on getting my license until i can do so properly.

but hey, I've seen some dumb butt guy drivers too.

Wow so insurance companies stereotype Men as being more reckless...i guess that means something. I know just as many women or more, who are more reckless than men at driving, It's amazing how women are all for equal rights but if it was them who were being made to pay higher premiums i bet there'd be a lot more bitching.

Honestly, I know it sounds bad coming from a female, but I think a lot of women can't drive because they're over cautious. I even get mad sometimes because they drive too slow, or keeping their signal light on. I feel you on that one, but I think it's because they are just being extra cautious, and it's gone over the top.

I'm offended. I have a perfect driving record. The only accident I have ever been in was when a man slammed into me because he wasn't paying attention.

Gee, it's only some men's opinion. They get in more accidents, receive more speeding tickets, are arrested on more DUI's, have higher insurance rates. Petty silly question that could only be asked by a man.

I drive much better than men, and can prove it--no accidents, no speeding tickets, etc. AND men's rates have always been higher because of their history. So there.
