is it a bigtwin or a sporty? and just because its amf doesnt make it junk,ya just gotta go to the aftermarket to fix the desighn flaws. Fill those engine cases with s and s parts and its a great machine.or add a length of chain and use it for a boat anchor

I think the AMF thing has come full circle now. The Bikes were shunned by most Harley riders and few were sold, even fewer were kept running. Now they are rare and make a unique ride.

Sidenote, here: I believe AMF save Harley by, for one thing, improving fit and finish and general quality controll.
