Normally I love this restaurant. I usually go to the one in Toms River NJ and have for several years now. It always has such a great atmosphere and friendly accomodating employees. However, tonight I went with two of my children to the Manahawkin NJ TGI Friday's and endured a disturbing new way for the employees to honor birthday guests. This new way was horrific and unpleasant. First they gather around the person and their table. They LOUDLY, almost screaming, announce the person and their birthday. Then the clapping begins, as hard and loudly as they possibly can make it, as they chant whatever it was they said. This was obnoxious!!! My children and I endured this six times during our meal. After the first few times I made the waiter aware that my son has autism and cannot endure this, let alone a regular person. (I'm sure I speak for all the guests at this time!!!I witnessed a man wince during several that were near him. Poor guy!!) I then asked the waiter that we had tell the other employees if they have another birthday guest to please see if they can do this quieter next time. However, this did not happen. Instead, my son, daughter and I endured it over and over, and once my son literally had to cover his ears. I was afraid he was going to run out of the restaurant. I wanted to myself!!! I also watched other patrons wince while they got to experience loud clapping right in their own ears. Shame on you for inventing such a horrid experience!!!! Needless to say I did NOT enjoy my experience there and packed up my meal to go. I could not wait to leave.
Make this right!!! This needs to stop. Nobody should have to dine while listening to incessantly loud bursts of clapping by several employees at one time!! A much nicer birthday experience is required for ALL patrons from now on. This was worse than a screaming baby. I would like an apology and to see this horrific procedure changed. I would not like to embarrass my own family with something like this by bringing them there and risk having that happen again.

This isn't that crazy, but I was surprised at the time. I went to a very nice steakhouse in Kansas City. We had a group of seven people which can be harder, but we had reservations, it was later at night (about nine), and the restaurant was not very full. First we waited half an hour to get seated, then we no one came and took our order, and when they did take our order nothing came out until we said something (no appetizers or salads.) When we got our steak it was cold and over cooked. We said something to the manager and we got our whole bill for free. It was over 300 dollars!

this was my first real romantic date( r it was supposse to be)
well the guy and i werent really going together. He just popped up and askes me if i wanted to go out to dinner with him. Since i have had a crush on him for so long i said yes. Well he told me to wear the sexiest but most formal thing i had to wear. Because we were going to Javion's. ( a very expensive chinese restaurant) and it wasnt a buffet can u believe this boy had taste.Well i decided to wear my pearl white dress, since i barely get to wear it anywhere it very low cut clingy but not to tight and shows off skin in all the right places. well we were on our way there and he seemed so sweet and nice. you know the type of guy everygirl wouldnt think would be rude. well neva judge a book by his cover. this guy table manners were outrageous he burped out loud, mad a big mess and on top of that spilled his red soda on my $135 pearl white dress and i almost had cow. he appoligized for it. And paid to get it sent to the cleaners but yes that is the craziest thing that everhappened to me in a restaurant

it started on my b-day. i have received a card from my aunt Jenni. on the front of the card, it had said "Here is how to get a free dinner at your favorite restaurants". i had opened it up and it had a fake cockroach taped inside the card. it was only a joke but, i had to do it anyways.
so me and my friends went to eat for my b-day. we went to. "Mi Mi Limbo". its a fancy Italian restaurant. i had put my fake cockroach in my purse. i had ordered there spaghetti with bread sticks and a side of Roman noodles. that was like, 30 bucks. when my food had came out, i had takin a few bites. then 15 minutes later, i'd seen the waiter come to check on us. i hurried and put my real looking cockroach in my spaghetti and shrieked. the waiter hurried up and came to my table. when he had seen the roach.....he had screamed!! he took my plate and showed it to the cook. he yelled and yelled and yelled at the cook. i felt so bad!!! the cook came out of the back, threw his hate down and yelled "Ima quit!!!" i got a free dinner and a discount the next time i would come there.
what a crazy night!!!

A group of us went to Hard Rock in D.C., and a girl ordered a veggie burger. It ended up having a piece of gum in it! Her meal and dessert was free. That was pretty gross.
In the midst of that, that was the night my (now) wife and I figured out we were mutually interested. Four years later, we got married.
