Neither. . . but the question was to choose, so I would pick Kelly Clarkson because at least she had to try a little to become famous, Ashlee just rode on her sister's coat strings. Ashlee's songs are cute, but not something I would choose to listen to. I always really like Kelly's songs when they first come out, but after a few weeks can't stand them.

Kelly Clarkson by far. She had to work for hewr chance to be a singer, Ashlee just had to say who her sister was and people took a chance. Ashlee is not that good of an actor and she sings worse. Kelly tried the acting and smartly got out of it. But she can sing and ashlee's voice doesn't even come close to Kelly's, nevermind her sister's

I would Pick Kelly Clarkson, cuz she is a way better singer than Ashley simpson, and plus, Kelly has a really strong voice. all the people that sang Kelly's songs on American Idol were told by the judges that, the songs were tooo stromng for them to b able to sing, they needed more stronger voice. and i think Kelly Clarkson is AMAZING! lol

Kelly Clarkson hands down. Her songs don't annoy the hell out of me and she can sing. She didn't win American Idol for nothing. Ashlee only got her career because of Jessica.

I hate both, but Kelly Clarkson can sing at least. Ashlee can't sing and her voice peeled all the wallpaper in my house.
