sox have a tone of almost ready outfielders.
I know Brian Anderson is not really hitting now. but he is the best fielder right i the league. and his hitting will catch on. he could go. they have a few other in the minor league. who are almost ready also.

They were just speculating becuz they were saying that the sox should look at getting him if they want to improve and make a run.

But what they really need is to bolster the pitching depth. Besides, Andruw jones would be too hard to get without trading someone major and all of the sox hiiters are doing great.

This would be a great addition considering the credentials of Andruw Jones. He is a great fielder and great hitter it would be a great boost considering Brian Anderson and Rob Mackowiack don't even compare to him. This would be a great addition to an already great lineup

If the Sox do this they will be tough to beat.

I havent seen it but I severely doubt it will happen. Every year towards the trade deadline people bring up Jones and Griffey to go to the Sox. I dont know who the Sox would give up though. A lot of people say Garland but he has a no trade clause. Im sure Atlanta would want a lot too.

No, even if this was in discusions, the Braves would be asking for young talent the White Sox can't provide. The Sox are made from players late in their prime. They don't have the prospects to justify this.

No Way! I heard that Smoltz was open to being traded, but nothing about Andruw. Gaul! I hope it doesn't happen, he won't be easily replaced. If he does go, I guess the Sox wouldn't be bad, but I would like to see him stay in the NL

Interesting, but it would never happen. Jones is one of the few untouchables - maybe the only one - on the Braves and the team is basically built around him. The Chisox would have to give up every pitching prospect in their farm system, not to mention most of their starting lineup. Then where would they be? Never going to happen.

I don't know about all of that -- I just know my son would be DEVASTATED if he left the Braves. Don't go A.J.!!!
