I know a bank to not use, never ever use TCF bank!!!! The computer system is wack, the people are dumb, no offense, but they cant help when you need help. One day you are in the neg. 1,000 then the next day your in the pos. 400 and you didn't add or take out a penny. ikes i had so many issues there. well I'm done ranting now, sorry

Bank of America- keep the change is great. They round up purchases to the next dollar and deposit the change into your savings. It adds up fast! I think they match it for the first 3 months, after that you get 5% back.

Washington Mutual's new free checking with free checks for life, and 1 overdraft charge forgiven per year is pretty hard to beat.

The checks alone would cost you at another bank.

M&T bank has a strong stock portofolio right now. Keybank is another good one.
