different people do different things. I shave the bikini line and keep the rest very short and trimmed. I tried shaving once, and was completely and totally miserable because I have sensitive skin and it HURT and felt like I looked like I was 12. I decided shaving was for Victoria's Secret models and now just trim really well. Don't really know what is "normal." Good question.

Whatever you do is normal. Whatever you don't do is normal as well. I shave, I've shaved since I had the very first hairs. But my sister has never shaved anything except what shows when she wears her very tiny bikini. She doesn't even trim. Not for me.

And, shaving doesn't cause hair to grow back faster. It doesn't cause it down there, it doesn't cause it any where. It's an old wives tale. It just seems like initial growth comes back so fast, but if you look, initial growth is really short. Sometimes you can only feel, not see it.

What I do is shave everyday. That way there is no stubble and no razor burn. And there aren't tons of pubic hairs floating in my bath tub. Eww.

Yea is normal sometimes to shave down there but not all the time. I am a medical student and i am almost finish and i learned from class and my doctor that when you shave completely, you can easily pick up germs and bacteria because your hair is not there. Look at it this way, your hair is there to prevent you from getting different forms of bacteria.

But you can also trim it down. That's good too.

Are you ready for this?
I am a guy. I've shaved "Down there" a few times. This makes it more sensitive, at first. Kinda too sensitive to wear pants. It grows back, and catches lint, at first. So if you are going to "Trim the muff," I suggest you make it part of your weekly routine. The North American standard is that a woman is supposed to be less hairy than her male.
I've enjoyed forests, as well at short brush, and a few badgers. each is different, but the ones I enjoyed the most... had brains, and took care of their-selves, as well as those around them.

Whatever you feel like doing is completely normal.

Some people shave, some don't, some trim the hair, some let it grow completely naturally.

All is normal.

it is normal to not want alot of hair down there, but shaving can sometimes lead to boils which hurt. so i would use a over the counter hair removal.

yea its normal kus girls do, even guys do alot. but the first few times might be a bad expeirence because itll itch alot as it comes back but the more you shave it over time itll stop and youll be surprised how much cleaner youll feel. itll take a few months for the itching to stop everytime you do it but its wwaayyy worth if you ask me. and you might feel like a 12 year old girl the first few times kus your just not used to it but your man will love it so much more i promise and that feeling will go away

If you were meant to be bald there don't you think you would be bald there? The hair help keep infections away and it does serve a purpose even if the fad is to shave!

I wax, because if you shave, the hair comes back faster, and stubbly. Waxing only hurts the first few times, then you get used to it.

i think it is perfectly normal.
hair also can make you smell a little because it hold in heat
i say go for it but the only problem is that the hair also protects you from bacteria getting in there, you might get more infections and razor burn
