When you want to skip your periods while on the pill, you just skip your last week (placebo) and start right into the new pill pack. To work efficiently without any harmful side effects, give yourself at least four periods a year.

I have skipped with Ortho Tri-Cyclen before, however the first time my body didn't like it and I had breakthrough bleeding 2 weeks into the second pill pack. After that, no worries.

Its harder bc its a tri-phastic pill. I heard if you take week 1 from one pack, followed by week 1 of a second, and repeat this for weeks 2 & 3 (leaving your plecebo week to just 7 days), that it is definately possible to skip your period for a month. Hope this helps.
