At least once a day here I see the statement, "Gore invented the internet."

Always baffles me when you consider the... what is it now 50... lies that Bush has told.. everything from saying there were WMDs in Iraq, to a mushroom cloud threat, to Iraqi oil would pay for the war.

And the thing is that everytime I see that statement, I know it must be a teenager because anybody of any age would know that was misconstrued statement whereas Bush's crap was outright in your face lies.

I mean it's like a serial killer's kid saying... "but your guy ran a stop light"... no freaking comparison.

WMDs in Iraq, to a mushroom cloud threat, to Iraqi oil would pay for the war.

WMD>> In fact, it is leaking out that we have found chemical weapons in Iraq. The White House finds it best not to tell the public. If you think about it, why should we know. What good, if any would happen if we knew. Also, the days before we invaded Iraq, thousands of big rig trucks drove into Syria and never can back.

Mushroom Cloud>> North Korea and Iran are both communist styled countries. Each have broken weapons codes from missiles to atomic energy. Iran is an oil country. Why would it need a nuclear power plant other than to refine weapons grade uranium and plutonium. North Korea supports terrorism and has burned many American flags. So has Iran. But Korea has just announced that is has just developed a stage two rocket capable of reaching Hawaii. A stage 3 can reach America.

Iraqi oil>> Before the war started there was a oil for food campaign. The head of the UN, some dude in France, and Sadam himself used it for other purposes. Oil is the Iraqi economy and never was intended to be used for American aid. If you believe it is, then listen to other sources of information such as fox news or listen to rush limbough on 600 or 1010 AM around 12 to 3. What ever it is, is very misleading.

It was Al gore who boasted about inventing the Internet . . . and the calculator. HE stop when people started to criticize him.

No it is not the nature of Republican's to point fingers. I'd say its far more likely to see this from a Democrat. Regardless, I don't care much for politicians and I can agree with your distain.

I'm republican and decided to be republican for two reasons. They have two underlying goals that the Democrats or other parties do not always share.

Republicans always want smaller government.
Republicans always want to lower tax.

This may or may not always happen, but I believe this is their goal and is well intentioned. All the smaller issues that come and go through each election cycle may or may not sway me, but I agree...I want smaller government and I want taxes to go down.

Can you trust someone who will never take responsibility for their own actions? If someone is 'perfect', isn't that actually a lie of some sort? Is letting a psycho hose-beast chase you down worse than leading your country to war for a personal vendetta under false pretenses?

Sure, and all Democrats are very willing to take responsibility for and make apologies for any mistakes they make...it's all politics, everyone says what they have to to push their own agenda, and when it goes wrong, it's someone else's fault.
