Say on a team like the Birmingham Barons (The team Jordan played on). A round-about range is ok.

Minor league salaries can vary greatly. Some players in independent leagues make as little as $600 a month for about 5 or 6 months of the year. Players in Single A make about $900 - $1100 a month -- but just for the months they play. The pay goes up with years of experience and with the level.

They make very little...perhaps 20-25k per year. Some of the guys share apartments and others have "host families" they live with while in the minors...not many people know that.
You will notice that at minor league games if a guy hits a homer a hat is passed.....hopefully he makes some bucks that way! (The money DOES go to the player that scored.)
