If i were to get another ipod with more room could i put all of my songs on my old ipod on the new one? I heard there is a cord. is that true?

Yes! All the songs you have on your current iPod should be on your computer's iTunes program. When you install the program for your new iPod you would just transfer them from iTunes to the new iPod. Also, a feature in iPods that make it easier, called sync, will automatically update your iPod's playlist when you plug it in.

You can put songs from computer to iPod, but not iPod to computer. If you want to get songs from an iPod and put it on your computer, you have to buy this program for $20 at futureshop or any place like that. You can save all the songs on your iPod by putting it on your computer using this program, but direct iPod to iPod does not work.

you don't move them from ipod to ipod. Your new ipod's software would overwrite your old one and you would dtill have what you loaded in itunes.
