I love the new India Arie cd. I especially love #3 on the cd. " The Heart of the matter". I love that song. So, what song do you love???? Maybe on another cd??? Give some input peeps.

YEAH I LIKE HER 2.
HER SEXIEST SONG(THAT I LOVE) IS BROWN SKIN.
I THINK SHE HAS ALOT OF THOUGHT PROVOKING SONGS AND HER SONGS PROMOTE SELF LOVE TO YOUNG WOMEN, WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT.
I DON'T THINK SHE GETS ENOUGH OF THE PROPS SHE DESERVES THOUGH.

I think her song Strength, Courage, and Wisdom off of the first CD always seems to make me feel better when I'm having a bad day.

I agree. She & Jill Scott both rule. They both were featured, with Alicia Keyes, on the Oprah show once. I knew who the entertainment industry would push to shine out of the three; I wanted to b wrong, but I sadly wasn't. It's disappointing to see that very little has changed since the '50's school of thought. Alicia can't touch Jill or India on talent bc the entertainment world is still shallow...

Yeah, I love her music. She's one of the best neo soul artists out there right now. You can definitely hear the Stevie Wonder influence in her music, who's an artist I also love.
Favorite India.Arie songs:
- Acoustic Soul in its entirety, especially "Video" (that song was my anthem for the longest! ^_^)
- Voyage to India in its entirety, but especially "The Truth" and "Beautiful Surprise" (I put both of them on my wedding CD because they reminded me of my husband)
I haven't gotten a chance to get her third album, but I bet it's great.

The Bonus Track "ThisToo Shall Pass" brings me to tears every single time. When you are going through a trial, this song hits the spot!
