She was doing so well a few years ago and than vanished. Is she injured or has she retired?

She still injured
God!! I still remember how shocking that she grabbed the Australian Open and French Open in the same year for her first return to court.

In the past few years, Capriati has struggled with injuries and has been unable to play fulltime on the tour. These injuries include the right shoulder and wrist with two surgeries done on each. However, the WTA site still shows her as being active.

I think she had an injury ..
I quite like her .. yeah she did do quite well a few years back .. made a surprise when she's really young.
But now I don't think she can do much more .. I mean, she's not that young anymore ...
For those who've never heard of Jennifer Capriati, she's a player from the US, one of Nick Bollitieri's products ... if I'm not mistaken.

She is in Wesley Chapel, Florida and rehabbing a shoulder injury.

she is both....retired due to injuries..and lack of desire...
