it can be from bad memory, cpu fan not working, low coltage to the pc, corrupted system files, viruses, these are the most common

You have at lest two issues to contend with. First, check and see if the FANS are clean, also check and see if the inside of your computer is free from dirt, lent, and dust. These can kill a system over time and lead to over heating which will shut down your computer.
More serious is Power Supply failure. It dies slowly and usually takes your motherboard, RAM and CPU with it, depending on how long it has been bad.
If the, computer being clean, is not an issue then you are probably looking at a new power supply.

Computers usally restart when the system could not recover from a fatal error which could mean alot of things.there is usally a setting in the computers bios setup where you can usally set whether to restart or shutdown when the system has a fatal error

it sounds like it is overheating so i would check that the inside is clean and dustfree and that you fans are working, if it is heat related there are many aftermarket products that cool the CPU which is the part that overheats

usually whe computer crashes, which can mean number of things. If its a windows machine, it needs to be pereodically restarted.
