The "next" best rapper? As in the second-best, or the next one to come out?

As a rap group, Andre and Big Boi have put forth some of the most creative and interesting rap out there. They definitely are original in a genre that seems to lack a lot of it. They find other things to rap about besides ganster stuff.

Between them, I like Andre slightly better in the early days and Big Boi more lately. So, depending on the era, one is best and the other second best.

Foxy Brown, babe. No doubt her serious, realistic approach to life in the hood as a condition and unfortunate circumstance is the best. She is a storyteller. Wyflef Jean, as much as I admire him, is not a great rapper. I would say that Shakira saved that song for him. He is a great guitarist and a wise soul with a kind, generous heart. Really great guy. Foxy is just real, man. She gets the streets and the hood. She is ghettofabulous and strong with a sensitive, soft side underneath. Great taste in fashion, too. Nice to see a woman who is real and in control and likes sex and men but won't give in to them at a whim. They have to earn her. Great.

What do you mean the next best rapper? There isn't or hasn't been a good rapper yet. Isn't even music.

Chamillionaire. He is one of the best lyric writers to come along in a while. Plus he has a good flow.
He is able to switch styles mid song and even with poor lyrics he is good. Example being "Get Ya Mind Correct"
The whole content of that CD was crap but its how it was delivered

Hard to say. Them getting filled with lead every time you turn around.

Maybe it's because someone hates their music.
