Its hard to adhere to the most logical advice... once you stop looking for it - love will find you.
take the time that you have now as a single individual to better yourself and/or do some of the things you've always wanted to do. getting out there and being active in things that interest you will indirectly involve you with people with common interests.
an easier pill to swallow would be - everything happens for a reason. Maybe you are alone for all the right reasons right now and you just have to re-assure your self that when the time is right everything will fall into place.
try not to dwell on the fact that your all alone and try to make best of the time you have to yourself.
keep your head up.

I felt the same way you do now at the age of 31 when I heard God tell me that I was going to meet the man I'd marry.
The voice was audio. I thought I was going crazy. I had an actual conversation with God. The man I met was not my choice but he turned out to be the man of my dreams.
