Why do all comedy series have to be noisy and obnoxious; and why do the actions speak so loudly?

Have you watched The Office...It is so funny and every one is way subtle, theres no slipping on banna peels kind of stuff...and no laugh track!

that is true..i have noticed that..its annoying to raise the volume and hear really loud laugther reel instead of what the actors are actually saying.

the same thing with commericals though..but that's cause they wanna get our attention.
