This is in reference to his behavior (misbehavior?) at the WC, and his attitude in general. Thank you.

However hot-tempered or angry a person he is, he shouldn't have behaved like that in such an important and prestigous match like the World Cup. He can't afford 2 do it. Whether he deserves a red-card or not, he has 2 be controlled.
One thing's for sure, this loss will surely have taught him something.
Maybe things cud've gone their way if he was there...............

Wayne Rooney is a very talented player but his disciplinary problems must be a concern. In September 2005 he was selected by his fellow professionals as the inaugural FIFPro World Young Player of the Year. Sven-Göran Eriksson compared him to Pele in the 2004 World Cup.

However, he showed that he is still a hothead. During the match against Sweden, Rooney was substituted in the 70th minute, Rooney, on his way to the bench, punched one of the boxes very aggressively, and then he took off his shoes angrily, throwing them off.

In the quarter-final match with Portugal, Rooney was sent off after an incident during the 62nd minute of the match. Rooney was struggling to gain proper control of the ball as he was involved in a tangle with Ricardo Carvalho and Armando Petit. As Rooney tried to retain his balance, he appeared to step on Carvalho's groin. The incident occured right in front of Argentinian referee Horacio Elizondo. As play was stopped, Portugese player Cristiano Ronaldo, Rooney's Manchester United teammate, remonstrated with the referee to take action against Rooney. Rooney then pushed Ronaldo and was shown the red card for a combination of the incidents involoving Carvalho and Ronaldo. His sending off could well have been the difference between England progressing to the semi-finals and going home early.

rooney is actually quite good; minus the temper.. which i think everyone has once in a while; even maradona said that he is one of the top players along with ronaldinho; dont believe me? GO LOOK AT THE FIFA NEWS! maradona also said a lotttt of good things about rooney, so dont be mean!

well, Ronaldo drew rings around him, I expects rooney isn't very clever.
But he shouldn't have been sent off, that was a bit too harsh.
His attitude in general is the same as you find wherever there's young/working class English people.

Hmm - ability you're 'incredibly gruesome'. yet with any luck you have a outstanding character, are smart, a laugh or have another redeeming features which Wooney regrettably lacks. be satisfied ! ; ))
