I think it is rude when a friend comes to day visit and falls asleep in my home. My friend thinks it is a compliment that someone could be so comfortable enough to fall asleep in anothers' home. What do you think?

Haha... Maybe I should elaborate some more. If a friend is over watching a movie and falls asleep on the couch... I find this rude, not a compliment in any way.

I think it could be a little bit of both. Rude in the respect that if that person does it everytime he/she comes to visit, and then I would think it is nice if the individual is just comfortable enough at your house to feel safe enough to fall asleep. However, if someone is constantly doing it then I'd ask the person if they suffer from a sleep disorder or if they're just tired.

I hate when that happens unless 1) it's a holiday and everyone had a lot to eat and is tired or 2) it's late and you're just watching a movie or 3) you know each other very well. If I fall asleep at my boyfriend's house I feel bad but he doesnt really care.

I don't know if it's rude but it is a little strange and would make me uncomfortable. Unless the person is traveling a long distance to see you or has some sort of sleeping disorder, I think I would arrange for them to leave before they usually fall asleep, or just ask them not to.

Unless your Friend has a Health-problem, I would consider it rude to fall asleep while visiting with me.

you could try the counting sheep aspect, or "sparkling your recommendations," or study something reeeally uninteresting. that is stated that you would possibly want to not watch television or be on the computing gadget a minimum of 0.5 an hour earlier you pass to mattress, because it is going to trick your recommendations and make you imagine this is nevertheless daylight hours, or something alongside those lines. warmth milk has the end results of making some human beings sleepy, notwithstanding i am going to't extremely keep in mind why..

I think its fine for a friend to do it. On the other hand, if my family did it, I'd have to wake them up and tell them to get out of my house.
