Actually, yes. When I was a teenager, our dryer caught on fire and thankfully I got up and saw it through the glass door to the utility room. The fire department had to come and put it out. Then my friend's house burnt all the way to the ground when her dryer started a fire. Her 7 kids happened to all be sleeping in the living room that night and all got out, it was a miracle because they would have been trapped in their rooms. The cat was found dead in the bathtub. It was right before Christmas of that year. It sucked.

Hmmm, when I was about three or four, I woke up in the middle of the night to find my parents in the living room and several firemen there too. They told me that there had been a small fire, but I saw no evidence. False alarm? Who knows.

No, but 3 weeks ago I woke up to the neighbors house and garage exploding. It almost burnt our house down to because they are clost to each other. It melted our vinyl siding on that side of the house and the tar on the roof which made the shingles fall. It was horrible because I ran out in my nightgown, flip-flops and cell phone with the charger attached and two cats under my arms to move my car before the windshield blew out from the heat.

Nope i saw a house on fire before and this guy was trying to go back into it. I figured he was trying to rescue someone who was still inside but i later found out he was trying to save the beer he had in the fridge. This is a serious story sher.

When I was in the 6th grade, the house that my family lived in had the garage under the house. My father filled up the gas tank, parked it in the garage, and the gas fumes leaked out. About 2Am in the morning in the middle of March, it exploded............right under my bedroom, but it also blew up the stairs (instead of straight up) and blew the top of the entire east side of the house out about an inch......you could see the sky through it. The entire basement was in flames, they were coming up through the registers on the floor, and the house was smoke filled. Hard to see through all of that. But no one was hurt, and the house was fixable, although the entire basement was charred and the car of course was gone. We were lucky.

no but I came home from work and my house was on fire. It was an electrical fire that started a few hours before. I came home and the firemen and cops were already there, flames were shooting everywhere.... I was glad I had insurance.
