Personally I loved them. I really liked the fact that the bottom was removable. That way if you did leave a bottle on the counter over night, you could take the bottom off and clean it that way , instead of having to fight a bottle brush and risk not getting them completely clean. Yeah they may be a hassle to take apart and reassemble, but I would use them over and over again.

I think all playtex baby products are great!!!
You should consider the disposable bag kind though, they are the greatest in my opinion. Not only do they stop the air to relieve gas/stomach problems, they can be washed up faster and easier than any other bottle. You can chose from a variety of nipples to make your baby happy and the best part is when you wake up in the morning or wash them you can just dump out that nasty milk and toss the bag.
That was just my opinion!!! Bottle liners are an extra expense but not to bad if you can afford them. The bags are cheaper the drop-in's higher but easier just a little.
My sister in law does use VentAire and they have no problems with them at all. Whatever you chose good luck to you Lea from Leah :)!!!

I used them with my second child (now 4 years old) and liked them quite well but then they were the only angled bottle on the market at the time. Now I use the Evenflo Comfi for my 9 month old and have since he was born. They are easier to clean than the VentAire (no disk in the bottom to rip or lose) and are a helluva lot cheaper.

We started with the Avent, but switched to the Ventaire with Natural shape nipple, because the baby seemed to prefer the Ventaire to the Avent.
The little disks do get lost, but they sell replacement disks.

My daughter in law uses them and loves them but I use the regular Playtex drop-ins and we haven't noticed a difference in gas and my 6 week old grandson seems to do as well on either one. I think it is a personal preference. I like the convenience of the drop-ins.

We use them a few times & they did nothing for my son. He didn't like how hard the nipples were & he'd gulp air like water which caused bad gas. We use Dr. Brown's & Avent now & he loves those (nipples are softer & smaller tips). At first I would buy just one of each kind of bottle to see which is most compatable with YOUR baby. All babies are different, some like harder larger nipples & some like softer smaller ones. *shrugs*

We used them with my little girl and they are a pain in the ****. You have to use those little ventilation disks and it's so hard to get them clean because gunk gets in between the
holes, then they get stretched and won't stay in the bottom of the bottle. It's just really annoying.

We used them for several months with my son. He had reflux and they seemed to help. There were a lot of parts to wash though. We don't have a dishwasher so they were always hand washed and they parts are just as good now as they were when we bought them.
