Hows about your hands , pull yank, pull, yank it is a primitive method but it is sure to work for you..

Get yourself a grass carp. They will eat the weeds. Just dont' let it go in the wild. Many a good fishing lakes have been ruined b/c of grass carps eating all the cover.

Yes, your farm store like Tractor Supply or garden center should have something for that. Maybe you can find something over the Internet as well.
