Have you been to a doctor?
That is the first thing you need to do.

There are many diseases and conditions that can cause this kind of fatigue and tiredness. Some are serious, others not so serious, and many can be effectivley treated. Your doctor needs to know all of your symptoms and how long this has been going on, and will do lab workups and such on you. this is very important.

Your doctor will also be able to give you dietary and other advice to help you overcome this fatigue if it is not a symptom of a serious condition.

Make a doc appt ASAP.

Hi there! I had the same exact symtoms plus added weight gain for over 2 years. Doctor's put me on anti-depressents but nothing worked. I found a new doctor who instead of treating the symtoms actually did some blood work to see where the problem might lie. Turns out my thyroid had not been working. He put me on levoxyl and cytomel and the problem is completely gone. I have so much energy and the extra weight just fell off! Request that your doctor order the tests because sometimes they just don't, I can't imagine why, but they just don't. I saw 3 doctors before this one and none of them tested my thyroid function. Hope this helps! Good luck!

You are sleeping too much. I jhave the same problem. I feel, oh so tired. And it feels so good to keep sleeping. But I don notice when I get about 8 hours in...I feel better throughout the day once I wake up. When I sleep the 10-12 hours (on weekends) I feel crappy and tired.

Well there are a few things that could be wrong here:
1. you are getting too much sleep
2. you need to do some heavy exercise to boost your energy
3. maybe you are not eating enough
4. a combination of one and two. Just go for a jog, eat foods that give you natural energy like fruits, dried fruits, and almonds, and protein. Try to sleep only 8 hours and then wake up and go for a walk, and try to stay moving until you feel improvement. Stretch, and do like a hard core exercise, that will wake you up. Tennis wakes me up

sleeping too much would be my guess. depending on your age u only need about 6-8 hours of sleep a day, teens need a little more. also some medical conditions can cause this if u are really concerned u might want to ask ur doctor

you need to see a doctor you may have sleep apnea which is when you dont breathe effectively in your sleep, so you sleep but not deeply , then are tired all the time treatment could be something as easy as using extra pillows or you may need help gettin enough oxygen while you sleep with a cpap machine, at any rate you need to see a doctor to make sure its not something serious

It could be several things. I personally started getting really fatigued when I moved to a damp, mouldy unit - I just found out Im very sensitive to mould.

But thats just what it was for me. Fatigue is a symptoms of hundreds of problems.
