Some head work to make things flow usually helps the most. Exhaust and tuning play a fair part also. If you are just wanting more top end or quicker accelleration then a sprocket change will make a huge difference

Well you can get a different exhaust system, which helps a lot. You can also use higher octane gas, the higher the octane the more efficient the fuel.

Although most of these only add a small amount of power, and honestly generally if you lost some weight you will achieve nearly the same results. Not that I have a clue what kind of shape you're in, but I usually think, man, if you just lost 15 lbs for free you could save yourself thousands in mods /and/ look and feel better. That's how I usually feel when this topic comes up.

- Go on a diet an loose the extra 30 pounds of ugly fat so your bike has less A$$ to haul around.

- Go down hill a lot

- Look for a tail-wind

How many cc?
How fast do you want to go?
What is your level of experience?
Speed parts cost money-got any?
Other wise all I could say is more throttle.
