The US has an arch enemy.........Osama. He can't be found and only goes to coutries that Bush wanted to bomb This must be the best thing in the world for the foriegn affairs dept a blank check to bomb anyone as long as the crazy Arab is spotted by a one eyed granny after dark - the planes are on the way -If they made him up they made him up decades ago but if he does exist - he's in the ackyard of the white house with an exotic sounding drink in his hand asking George where he's shotting hios next tape from.
So am I nuts or did the US just make up the most incredible enemy ever?

People that say you are nuts are sadly ignorant. They need to read 1984 . Bin Laden as a foreigner, gray and bearded, makes the perfect spectacle for americans to focus their hate and fear on. This was the role of Goldstein in 1984.
To the folks who doubt this, please read 1984! You will think otherwise.
In fact, what is happening correlates much more to 1984 than just the image of Goldstein held up as an image for the people to hate and fear.

What is wrong with you?? You need to get a life and get off of your mother's nipple. Have you ever been in the military let alone served in the middle east?? Once you have been there, experienced it and TALKED with the natives you have no opinion that counts.

No im sure the US made him up. And made up all the videos, and the tape recordings. They made up all the people who have talked to him. They actually (and this was somewhat difficult) they madeup his 24 children, countless wives and other family members. They made up his speeches and messages to the Iraqi people, telling them they are not safe from his network of evil.
Its all very simple.. ever see Men in Black, same thing.

Very plausable! I think you may be on to something with this one. There's been books about it, and there's been movies about it (Wag the Dog). If a writer thought of it, why wouldn't it be possible for our the US government, bent on world domination, to think of it and use it!!!!
