Jeremy Shockey...What's wrong with this dude?

As a few of us know. Jeremy Shockey was on NFL Total Access on I think Thursday drunk as hell. And when I say drunk...I mean
D-R-U-N-K! What's wrong with this guy? Why would he go on NFL Network drunk, and talking about nothing. Rambling on, and on. Saying that he calls "The U" The University. Saying that Butkis was a TE, and so on. Anyone who say the show tell me what you thought. I don't really know about Jeremy Shockey, but has he done stuff like this before in his career?

Yes, I saw that, he was DRUNK. Like I pointed out in someone elses question. Saying Butkis was a TE and just rembling. Yes he is an idiot. However, I think he is a good player. He is just a moron, I wouldn't want him on my team even with the talent he has. And yes, everyone calls it "THE U" not "The Hurricanes". He was blasted I hope he gets fined.

P.S. How does he consider himself "Old School" HAHAHA

Antics like this have become expected from Shockey. I am a big fan of his production on the field however. He loves to hit and its fun to watch. Hes always running his mouth but it makes for good tv at the end of the day. As far as being drunk on tv goes I dont think its that big of a deal. Joe Namath did the same thing.

Listen, you take the good w/ the bad. He says stupid stuff & does stupid things. Period.

You can say overrated as much as you want, but he's one of the top 5 TE's in the league. Regardless of his off-field antics, he's a producer.

At least he's not crashing motorcycles or getting arrested like the rest of the league. He's toned himself down a bit from his earlier years & I like his chances to increase his productivity even more this year.
