I got more responses when I used my photo as an avatar, but I changed it after about a week of weird comments. Also, people started calling me hon and sweetie...I hate that!

To be perfectly honest, I never look at any ones avatar first. I read the questions and look at the user name, then if I decide to answer, I will glance at the avatar. They mean nothing to me. There all cartoons or fake photos anyway..:)

You're cute. ☺ To answer your question, I think that a unique or attractive avatar will help attract more answers. If somebody has a funny avatar, it lets me know that they have a sense of humor, and I will go back and check out the rest of their questions.

Anyway, when I had my lesbian barbie pic up I got way more answers than when I use this one. Hmmmm. I think avatars do impact a questions answer-ability.
