It takes time to get past a relationship that was long term.. but sounds like he needs more than space.. if his job is that tiring or stressful he might want to look for something else.. there is NO excuse to yell at someone whom you love or loves you.. i don't know your age but life does go on.. i have had to start over many times both due to divorce and the death of a spouse... very hard very lonely... but my dear we just put one foot in front of the other and move forward.. perhaps a talk with a pastor of your church.. ?? Good luck and God bless

He may just be under a lot of pressure. I would just give him a little space. Do keep in touch with him, but give him some space to breathe.

If after the time alone, if he is still not communicating with you, then I would consider talking to him again. Your last choice is to leave the relationship and hope for the best.

Since he works in the sun all day, that can make anyone tired and irritable. Guys sometimes need a chance to unwind when they come home from work. Maybe give him some time before talking.

Take a break. DON'T break up, because i definitely understand that you and him probably have something, but give him time to get everything situated for his self and to also miss you and see what type of role you play in his life. Do make it known you don't like being yelled at, but be passive agressive, don't yell back, he could very well just be stressed. GOOD LUCK!! = )

There is no excuse for him to yell at you( like you were his doormat). Give him "His SPACE", maybe he will see the "LIGHT". If not then you will get over him in time. Good Luck.

If you don't see his job situation changing, I would choose to not be with him anymore. What you're feeling sounds more habitual than anything- once you find something else to fill that part of your life you may not miss him at all.
