Not in the U.S. (except for the years when July 4 is on a Saturday, so the official holiday is on July 3, which is not the case this year). The federal government will also be open. I know of at least one state, Virginia, where the Governor has given state workers a holiday on July 3 as well as July 4, so their state government will be closed.

on a similar time as Monday, July 3 isn't technically a holiday, many agencies will close in observance, with the intention to savour the greater long weekend. there is now regulation requiring this, so banks and different establishments will make their very own policies. call your financial corporation to be certain what they plan to do.

In the U.S., no. But if you're in Canada, it *may* be a banking holiday since Canada Day fell on Saturday.

If they're not closed all day, they might shut down early. Call your local branch and ask, and plan to go early if need be.
Oh, and if your bank has branches inside supermarkets, those branches are usually open later than the standalone branches.
