Why hasn't the Government come up with a plan to defend us in case the world stops selling us petroleum?

I just , right now, understood the pun in your name. Wow, that took a couple months...........I guess I'm slow.
Our Premier just offered the States oil. I'm from Alberta. Our oil sands are the most profitable in the world right now. And Ralph Klein would probably sell his mother to get this deal with the States. SO don't worry.

You are too young to have been in the military .If you had you would know there is nothing to worry about for the question you bring up.
Our Military can fight a dozen wars and not run out of fuel or supplies.

that is what the strategic reserve is for, but now days it gets used as a political tool to try to lower gas prices, might bight us in the rear end some day.

I think we really need to be putting money into making other fuels such as ethanol more efficient to make.

If someone in charge would take the time to get scientists to
look for alternative fuel source, we could eliminate this problem.

Not all of the U.S Defences run on Petrol. Our Navy uses Plutonium in our subs and carriers.

ill say when gas is done, ill move to japan and get one of those new electric cars they are making for cheap and bring it to us
