Me! Ohhhhh didn't he just show the world what a greasy little cheating slime ball scumbag he really is. His goal was obviously to get Rooney off the pitch. No matter how you say it whether it be for your country or whatever reasons you simply would not do that to a team mate would you? And no England players would not have been the same, even Lampard and Gerrard admitted you just don't do that and they would not do that to a team mate.

I hope he goes to Spain, then we can get rid of backstabbing scum like him. Although i hope he is made to stay for a while as a sub - that way he still gets all the hatred from fans, can be smacked by Rooney (and possibly Neville) and doesn't even get to play!

The wink and smug facial expression was enough to say 'Job Done Lads, Great Work!' For that he deserves all he gets...and then some.

Good Riddance To Bad Rubbish I Say

Hopefully Wherever He Goes He Is Hated (Spain - Beckham, Germany - Hargreaves, who by the way played superbly, the best in his life i think, he has deserved the respect he has earned well done him!)

Well Done Ronaldo We All Hate You - Mission Accomplished!

Rooney is not overrated. Fair enough he wasn't great during this world cup. But as I'm sure everyone knows, he was injured. Yes he trained to attempt to get back to standard, but it must have had an effect on his ability.

He still played reasonably well, and in the Portugal game, too much was placed on him. He was the only player left up front, trying to get balls flying way past him. That, plus the taunting Ronaldo gave him at the beginning of the game would have left him understandably angry at the time. He was clearly trying to free himself from those three players, and it was clear that the standing on the goolies wasn't intentional. Then Ronaldo comes over, mouthing off after he'd already said he was going to get Rooney sent off. Rooney pushes him away... and rightly so, it has nothing to do with Ronaldo.

Then there was that wink. The wink did it for me - I hate him because of that. How arrogant.

So yeah, to answer the question, I now hate the man. Sooner he goes to Real Madrid, the better... because quite frankly, he won't see much love over here, especially from his teammate Rooney.

Ronaldo is brilliant, wasnt too keen on him before but his actually suprised me. You english always wanna blame other people for your country not progessing/winnin any tournament. Get over it mate, England werent a strong enough team to progress and the foul that Rooney did, i think he deserved everything he got. If it was the other way round you wouldnt even be saying all this. Ronoldo is a good player and was looking out for his team mate in which case anyone would have done.

Both C Ronaldo & Rooney are simply overrated. What have they won for their team, no matter it's ManU, England or Portugal?! Well, CR still have a remote chance in this WC but he's just not the Man of the team!

Real Madrid wants him for his marketability, just like Beckham, they don't really care that much for footballing reason.

I won't say I hate CR but just don't like him as a footballer. Dirty, selfish, not a team player, unable to carry a team...

I must have missed something, the English are all complaining about Ronaldo, but when I watched the replays, I saw Rooney clearly stamp on some Port. guys balls while he was on the ground, yet Eng-ger-land is up in arms about Ronaldo. Really you lot should calm your emotions, perhaps that way you wouldnt keep getting arrested for being hooligans.

I think that he will leave English football, he will get a lot of abuse from fans and he might even get a right hander from Rooney. He's not a bad player, just a bad sportsman so if he goes to Spain or back to Portugal i'm sure he will find a nice boyfriend and settle down.

I never liked C. Ronaldo...but after the England game....He is the MAN!!! What a display in character!
He did what he had to do...as a player to his national team. Cheat? ..well....England cheats so much, i cant even begin to tell where.
The pro english media will probably make him a target and scapegoat to protect England's lack of efficiency and Ronney stupid temperemant but hey...who cares...if England dont want him...i am sure bigger teams will take him with open arms.
VIVA Ronaldo!
