No the media is controlled by the far right. You see this everyday with half truths and all the topics on the news being discussed come from the right wing agenda, ie, immigration, gay marriages, national security, etc...

I don't know if any one entity 'controls' the US media.
It does appear that pro-Israeli groups exert a disproportiate level of influence on the news, else we would see the truth about what has gone on for several decades in Palestine.

Well they certainly wield power greatly in excess of their percentage of the general population.
What is undeniable is that liberals dominate the press. At least 80% of people in the media are self-proclaimed liberals.
