I live in MN, love the Twins and even I think it is too little to late. But how about that Liriano boy????????????? He's great eh? I think Tigers and White Sox as wild card.

The Twins were made fools by the Tigers earlier, but they have definetly improved. Unfortunatelly, hstory shows that the Twins usually collapse after the All Star break. Well see how they do their next series with any of their division rivals. They have not played any of them for some time and have had a long homestand so hopefully they keep it going. Good luck Twins!

unfortunately for the twins they have two teams that are playing in their division that are playing very good baseball this season. The White sox the defending world champions and the Detroit Tigers. Unfortunately that leaves the twins being the odd team left out. You can see by this url of the standings that the twins just do not have it to make the playoffs. they are ten games out and well they are just too far behind both chicago and detroit to catch either team in my opinion

nope
unless the Tigers or Whitesox collapse
then the Twins have no shot.
They have won 10 in a row and barely gained any ground.
Francisco Liriano is a stud though.
9-1 1.99 ERA
Can you say rookie of year?

No, either the tigers or the white sox, and two of red sox, nyy and tor would all have to collapse. the twins will not continue their current hot streak.

I wish they would, but they probably will Miss it unless the Tiger or White Sox really choke. What are the odds of that?

They'd have to beat the two hottest teams in baseball to do it.
So my first instinct guess would be no.
Lets face it, the AL central (and probably the AL wild card) is already locked up by either detroit or chicago.
