There is nothing wrong with any of that as long as you take care of all thesites properly.

Yes, not only that, tattooing can cause infections on the skin, if the needle is not clean. Lip and tongue piercing can do the same thing not to mention if the tongue gets pierced in the wrong place, there's a chance that there would be a loss of the sense of taste.

You have a lot of misconceptions there. You should really go to a trusted tattooist and ask some of your questions. Of course if you would ask your M.D. he/she would tell you to forget any of that sort of thing. Myself, I have 14 really treasured tattoos, none are visible to the public though. They are only for me, my wife, and a very few trusted friends. I'm not one to go around with cut off sleeves displaying my ink to the public for some reason. I might even get some more tattoos, but no one will ever see them except the above type of folks--and especially myself. If I were you, obviously, I would not go through with any of the body modifications you have mentioned that would be visible to the public. Think about it, if you were trying to get a job, which you will be eventually, probably rather soon as a matter of fact in all likelihood, what would your prospective employer think about your maturity? Duh! Forget that job. Oh well. Maybe I shouldn't have....you know the drill. If you want to get a tattoo, or even a piercing, get it where no one but yourself knows that you have any. Also don't forget that your M.D. will see it on your job physical. Whatever that will entail.

Salaam alaykum, I live in a muslim country, and many of the girls have their noses pierced, as well as their ears. And when I mean noses pierced, they have a small diamond on the side of their nose. Some girls even have a little diamond on their tooth. Tasteful piercings are okay. As for tattoos, I think it is against the Qur'an for having them. I do not know any muslims with tattoos. In the muslim country I am living in, tattoes are banned. (permanent ones, at least) Take care!

I use to work for an eye doctor and I saw many cases of people who had eyeliner tatooed on their eyes. They were in great pain from chemical burns to their eyes. They couldn't keep their eyes open even a week after they were seen because the air hurt their eyes. It took several weeks, and a lot of visits to resolve the problem.
I am sure their are all sorts of problems from things being done to the tongue. The mouth is the most subseptible to infections etc.
For my personal safety I would never chance it.

Risky compared to what?

Driving a car is risky to your health.
Drinking soda can be risky.
Too much salt can be risky.

I supposed the answer would depend on how risky you want to get. If you think of the millions of people with these procedures and the small number of serious cases of something negative happening you can see for yourself it's not incredibly risky.

It could be risky if you get these procedures and then move somewhere in the serious bible belt and someone might lynch you for being a weeer-do. Other than that, I see no serious risk beyond what life normally throws at you.

My step-niece broke the enamel on her teeth and wound up with a $3000 dental bill caused by her tongue stud. She talks very, very fast and kept hitting her teeth.

As with any change to your body, go to a professional and follow the instructions you are given.

I met a girl once with a Tattoo on her butt cheeks and it read "Enter at Own Risk". I found that very disturbing and left her alone that night. sometimes we have eyes let the angels play and we have ears let the angels talk.

If they use an autoclave or disposible needles, it is safe. If the artist dips the needles in some kind of disinfectant (usually alcohol) run, do not walk out of there.
