Why does my period get heavier when....?

My period slowed down friday and saturday and was quite light with NO cramps... I started my new pack of pills this morning, and my period got heavier and my cramps came back.. Why does this happen? Is it normal?

It could be the pills. It doesn't sound normal at all. I would let your doctor know whats happening because it shouldn't get heavier and it definitely shouldn't make your cramps worse. Good luck.
