Maybe she's just smart. Babies should not have *any* milk before the first birthday (longer if there are food allergies in the family). Giving it too early can cause problems. Just wait a few months and try again. She will probably enjoy it then. Even if she doesn't, you can offer her plenty of foods that offer the same nutrition and avoid the battles.

My son stopped drinking FORMULA at 8 mo. I was also frantic. I went straight to the doctor after about 8 days.
[Before you all freak out I waited 8 days because, he had been sick with congestion. I had been told by the doctor whom, I had all ready seen 8 days earlier that it was normal for babies to stop drinking FORMULA when they had congestion.]
The doctor told me that there are a lot of cultures around the world that their children to not drink milk. That did NOT set my mind at ease. She also told me as long as he ate solids well then he should be getting enough nutrition from that. After about 2-3 weeks I tried to give him Whole milk. He drank it but spit up curdled after each attempt (2-3). A few days later I tried 2% and it was much better.
Just because this worked for me I would never want to be responsible for suggesting something bad for your baby. You should take your baby to the pediatrician immediately. Ask her for other options. My sons Dr. prescribe a multi-vitamin (I never gave it to him). I never called to ask if I could or should give him 2% milk. When I finally returned he was about 10 mo, I did tell her what he was drinking and she didn't seem to be bothered by it. He is growing very well & is neither under nor over weight.
HE DOES NOT MOO!!

Well the baby should still be drinking formula...you can start to slowly ween to milk by doing 50%milk 50% formula and slowly increase the amount of milk and decrease the formula until you are giving all milk...and if that doesn't work cause it didn't with my son you can put chocolate in it the nesquick is fortified with calcium or you can use something like ovaltin which is healthier.

I would say for sure to consult with your pediatrician as soon as possible, especially if you are beginning to grow concerned about your child's health or nutrition. I don't know much about what everyone else says about not giving a child normal milk until 12 months, but it is logical as it may contain impurites that the child's immune system is unable to deal with yet. You could try using Soy milk and see if that makes a difference. Your doctor is your best source for an answer to this though. Chances are, he or she would answer your question over the phone.

Milk can cause ear aches in babies and young children..
My son had a constant ear ache his whole life and he is now 14. We just did surgery last month to heal up the holes in his eardrums from all the ruptures he had. It started when he was a year and a half old. He is also now Lactose Intolerant. He gets very sick, stomach cramps and diarrhoea when he drinks milk. I do believe there was found a link to muscular sclerosis too with milk consumers.
Your baby is giving you one BIG hint. Take it!

My son became like this he would consistently stare at me ingesting and cry, i eventually gave him solids at 4 and a 1/2 months, he had strong head administration so I sat him in his comfortable chair and fed him 2 spoonfuls of toddler porridge.. He didnt push the spoon out so I knew he became waiting and proceeded to grant him the nutrients and he eat all of it (I waited an total 24 hours earlier attempting him back) and he gradually had further and extra He became also breastfed and that i comprehend he became waiting for solids when I gave him some.. he's now 6 months and eats porridge of a morning mashed with puréed banana, has puréed fruit of a dinner and some puréed veg of a nighttime and he's an exceedingly content fabric and satisfied toddler and see on in his weight! By that did you mean formula. Babies should not drink cow's milk until they are over 12 months old

Your baby shouldn't drink milk until she is a year old. Formula is okay, but not cow's milk, at nine months there stomach is not able to digest and tolerate cow's milk. If you are trying to give her milk, she probably won't drink it because it upsets her stomach.
