Hope for the best? Really, its not like you'll have to see this guy often if it goes bad.

And so what if hes not hot? if his personality is good enough, why not enjoy the date? Your stuck in it, just enjoy yourself.

You have three options you either cancel the whole thing and make up an excuse, or you tell your friend about how you feel, or just go on with the whole date, and forget about it.

For number one you can just cancel the date and tell your friend taht you're busy that night and you cannot possibly go out for it. Or you can say that you're parents and you don't feel comfortable about a BLIND date, and that as friend you want to tell your feelings to you because you're a true friend and I want to be honest about the situation

You can always tell your friend that you don't like other people picking someone out for you, because it ends up not working and someone or both people gets heartbroken. You never want to have a conflict with your friend that you don't think she has good tatse, so say something that you don't LIKE IT how someone has to the the responsibility to pick a date out them.

Or if you don 't agree with those 2 options just go to the date, have fun, and forget about it. Life is FULL of these WACKY memoiries. And who cares if the guy is UGLLLLYY or BEAUTIFUL! Because if someones chooses the person for you, it ends up an awful relationship.

Whichever option you choose, use it exactly, and always be CONFIDENT! I have on iw ould pcik but I won't tell you because you might pick it and it ight not be the BEST option.

GOOD luck Though!

Grab a cell phone have a friend call you at a selected time, usually with in 1/2 hour of the starting time of the date. If the date is bad, have her call you with an emergency exit reason, apologize tell him you really have to go.If your into him, all is well, just chat for a minute and tell her thanks for calling.

What do I do?? I never went on a blind date. I prefer to select my partner myself after meeting and talking with him in person.

Do what you feel comfortable with and don't listen to what your friends say. Jealousy or envy could be the reason your friend(s) may say some of the things they say.

agree to go on the date. but make it short, saying you have to get up early the next morning. then, if he ends up being someone you aren't interested in, you only had to go on the date for a short amount of time. if you do like him, you got to go on the date and meet him
good luck

Go on the date. It's good, raw material to use and distort later, when you have to tell about your worst date ever.

go and try to enjoy yourself. if it's really bad go to the bathroom and call a friend, have that person call you back in about 5-10mns with an emergency and then you can leave.
